Fur coats come from many animals. For example: Fox, rabbit, mink, stoat, cat, dog, otter, sable, seals, coyotes, chinchillas, and possum.
Hearing that fur coats comes from cats and dogs probably hurts you the most, but the truth has to come out eventually. Cats, dogs, and all those other animals are so adorable. Think, you could be wearing an innocent bunny who couldn’t defend himself. Do you want to wear any animal who couldn’t defend himself? I don’t think so.
Personally, I don’t think it’s the animals who are disgusting. It’s the buyers of those coats that are disgusting. It’s icky just thinking about it, wearing something else’s fur. It’s as if some giant were to come and kill us because we can’t defend ourselves, and then use our skin as a coat.
Even if there are certain animals that aren’t friendly, like minks, what gives us the right to make a fur coat out of them? Put yourself in the animal’s shoes. Do you still want that fur coat? I hope not.
